Sunrise Winter Solstice at a Stone Circle

December 22, 2018 @ 7:48 am - 9:48 am

Join us to celebrate this ancient marking of time celebration at this newly created stone circle in the quarry at Mount Nemo Conservation Area at sunrise on the 22nd. This is the best day to get out of bed for a sunrise ritual because you get to sleep in. This will be the latest the sun will rise for the next 365 days :).

It is a short hike to the quarry through one of the most beautiful parks in this area. The quarry is a natural theater with great acoustics as we drum and sing ancient songs and play flutes.

The stone circle is a sacred place with great power and energy. Join us around a sacred fire as we pray pay respect to mother earth and all of our ancestors from around the planet.

Dress warm, Bring your drums, flutes and voices.

There is no cost associated with this sacred ceremony.
